Meet our team

I am Christiana Bakalova, manager of the Howard Gardner Language Center. I have over 15 years of teaching experience, choosing an approach different from the traditional education system in Bulgaria. I studied music and pedagogy in Sweden and law in Burgas, but my passion for education led me in a direction that gives me the opportunity to work with children, inspire them and show them how colorful the world of knowledge can be.

I have been teaching English to young children from 2 to 6 years old for over 10 years and every day I strive to create an atmosphere for them in which they learn with joy and ease. For me, the greatest reward is seeing children's eyes shine when they discover something new and interesting. I dream of more children having access to quality education and developing their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.

I believe that the Howard Gardner Language Center is a place where children can not only learn a language, but also be inspired for life. I hope that with us every child will find a spark that will lead them forward with desire and confidence.

Hello! I am Miss Geri – an English teacher with energy and love for children. I have been teaching since 2023, having graduated with a degree in English from the University of Prof. Dr. "Assen Zlatarov" in Burgas. In addition to English, I also speak a basic level of German.

My passion for working with children also comes from my personal experience as a parent of a five-year-old. I love teaching the youngest and believe that the foundations of learning are laid from an early age. I have been teaching children since the age of two and enjoy guiding them on their path to knowledge.

Besides being a teacher, I love to write poems and songs in Bulgarian and English. I am also an eco-activist – I recycle and participate in various environmental causes, trying to pass on this love for nature to my students.

I have completed training in Montessori methods and other internationally recognized teaching approaches, and I am also a Cambridge Curator and Examiner. Come to my classes - we will make learning interesting and inspiring for every child!

Hello! I am Miss Ellie, an English teacher with experience in teaching and a passion for sharing knowledge. I have been teaching for two years now, and I am fluent in both English and Korean. I graduated in Applied Linguistics with English from the Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski" and I also have experience in Korea as a Korean teacher for foreigners.

In addition to working as a Cambridge examiner, I have undergone various trainings in modern teaching methods, which helps me adapt my lessons to the needs of each student. I believe that learning should be interesting, inspiring and relevant to real life.

My inspiration is nature, children and books. I strive to convey this love to my students by creating an environment in which they feel calm and motivated to learn. Welcome to my English classes - together we will discover the beauty and power of language!
